Who you are
You are a talented Events Coordinator, capable of leading the planning and delivery of high-profile university events, bringing creativity, flexibility and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. You’re a highly organised, solutions-focused professional who thrives in dynamic event environments. You enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders, navigating complexity, and staying calm when the unexpected happens. What you'll do
You’ll bring UniSQ’s most important events to life – leading the end-to-end delivery of graduations, Vice-Chancellor events and strategic engagements that leave a lasting impression. From planning through to on-the-day execution, you’ll coordinate logistics, manage vendors and ensure every details runs seamlessly.
Working closely with stakeholders across the University, you’ll be the go-to for event delivery—balancing multiple priorities, solving challenges in real time, and keeping everything on track. You’ll oversee registrations and guest communications, direct staff and volunteers on the day, and ensure events meet the highest standards of safety, accessibility and professionalism.
Beyond delivery, you’ll track budgets, evaluate event performance, and use insights to continuously improve how we engage our communities. In doing so, you’ll play a key role in shaping memorable experiences that strengthen UniSQ’s reputation and impact.

- Proven experience coordinating and delivering events from planning to on-the-day execution.

- Build positive working relationships with ease and communicate confidently across all levels.
- Able to manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective event delivery.
- Have attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems as they arise.
- Familiar with event systems, logistics planning, and registration platforms.
- Have knowledge of current health, safety, and accessibility requirements
- Have a strong commitment to delivering memorable, high-quality experiences.

Salary: Total remuneration range $108,559 to $117,574 pa (includes salary range of $91,553 to $99,155 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
