- The selected candidate will be employed in the position of Assistant Professor (D019008) OR Associate Professor (D019007) OR Full Professor (D019006), depending on their habilitation title.

Job description
- forming and updating curricula, and adapting study programmes in accordance with professional, pedagogical and legal requirements;
- Organizing or co-organizing all activities for the implementation of the course in line with the curriculum and the latest developments in the field, as well as coordinating and supervising the work of other course contributors (assistants, technical staff, and other colleagues);
- Lecturing to students, managing seminars, and leading other pedagogical activities for the course;
- managing, evaluating and correcting exams and tests,
- Providing mentorship to students for assignments, theses, and other academic work;
- Participating in other activities related to pedagogical work within the field, both inside and outside the university;
- Conducting scientific research, as well as studying and developing concepts, theories, and methods;
- Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for the staff and students of the unit and providing appropriate training and instruction for persons coming into contact with hazardous substances regarding the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures;
- Performing other duties that substantively fall within the broader professional field of the position.

Job requirements:
- higher university education in medicine (previous) or completed unified master's study program in medicine
- doctoral degree (PhD, previous or 3rd Bologna degree)
- Valid habilitation title: University teacher of Internal Medicine (Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Full Professor)
- The candidate fulfils the condition if he / she has a valid UL title or the valid title of the Guest teacher at UL. If, at the time of application, the candidate does not have an election to the abovementioned titles, but he meets the qualitative and quantitative conditions for election to these titles, he can apply for the job vacancy, in which case, together with the application, he / she shall also provide evidence of compliance with the above criteria, accompanied by a statement, in the event of a decision by the selection committee, the application shall also be considered as an application for election to the title or for the recognition of the equivalence of the title.
- Language skills: Knowledge of the Slovenian language at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If the successful candidate does not meet this requirement at the time of employment, they must fulfil it no later than three years after the start of employment
- rhetorical skills, innovation, a sense of organizing one's own work and the work of colleagues;
- At the same time, employment in the public health establishment, which is an educational institution of UL MF or institution, authorized to carry out this study activity.
