Offer Description
Short job description:
- designing and updating curricula and adapting higher education professional education programs to requirements
- organizing or co-organizing all activities for the implementation of the course in accordance with the curriculum and the findings of the profession, as well as coordinating the work and supervising the work of other course providers (assistants, technical and other colleagues)
- lectures to students, conducting seminars and other pedagogical activities in the course,
- conducting, evaluating and correcting exam tasks and tests
- mentoring students in the preparation of diploma theses and other works
- participation in other activities related to pedagogical work in the field of profession (nostrification, etc.)
- scientific research work, study and development of concepts, theories and methods
- takes care of the safe and healthy work of the workers and students of the unit, the appropriate education and training of persons who come into contact with dangerous substances, the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures
- performance of other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the position.

Conditions for the position:
- PhD degree (pre-Bologna) in a relevant field or a PhD (3rd Bologna cycle) in a relevant field or recognized significant artistic works in the relevant field.
- A valid academic title (habilitation) of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor in the field of Theatre Singing.
- The candidate meets the condition if he/she has a valid title from the University of Ljubljana (UL) or a valid title of guest teacher at UL. If the candidate does not have an election to the above mentioned titles, but they meet the qualitative and quantitative conditions for election to these titles, they can apply for the job vacancy, in which case, together with the application, they shall also provide evidence of compliance with the above criteria, accompanied by a Statement, in the event of a decision by the selection committee, the application shall also be considered as an application for election to the title or for the recognition of the equivalence of the title. The title must be obtained before the conclusion of the employment contract.
- Language skills: the Slovenian language at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If the selected candidate does not meet this condition at the time of applying for the position, the condition must be met no later than three years after the employment.
- Functional skills and other requirements: rhetorical and innovative skills, sense of organization of one's own work and the work of colleagues and communicative nature.
