mentoring students in the preparation of diploma theses and other works;

participating in other activities related to pedagogical work in the field of the profession (nostrification, etc.);

scientific research work, studying and developing concepts, theories and methods;

ensuring the safe and healthy work of workers and students of the unit, for appropriate education and instruction of persons who come into contact with hazardous substances, on the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures;

Requirements for the Position

Required education (level and field) according to the title:

• Doctor of Science degree (pre-Bologna programme) in Mechanical Engineering or another natural sciences or technical field; or
• Doctor of Science degree (third-cycle Bologna programme / PhD) in Mechanical Engineering or another natural sciences or technical field.

Valid Academic Title (Habilitation):

Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the field Research Assistant or Assis in the field of Rheology and Mechanics of Time-Dependent Materials or Mechanical Engineering.

The candidate meets the condition if he/she has a valid UL title or a valid visiting professor title at UL. If the candidate does not have an appointment to the above-mentioned titles at the time of application, but meets the quantitative and qualitative conditions for appointment to these titles, he/she may apply for the advertised position and in this case, together with the application, he/she must also submit evidence of meeting the stated criteria and attach a statement that he/she agrees that, in the event of a decision by the selection committee, the application will also be considered an application for appointment to the title or for recognition of the equivalence of the title.
