Utilities Operations Worker

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Utilities Operations Worker for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O).

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Under general supervision, will be required to perform manual duties which include but are not limited to: Excavation hand work, scaffolding erections, general maintenance, painting, trench shoring, and working with other trades when required.
• Will also be required to have general operational knowledge of sewer jetting and vacuum unit, skid steer, trencher, compaction equipment, telehandler and snow equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High school/vocational school education or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years documented experience in utility and excavation experience
