Albany State University (ASU) seeks a visionary executive to serve as the inaugural Vice President and Chief University Growth Officer (CUGO), a career-defining opportunity to establish a new strategic center of gravity for institutional advancement and long-term sustainability. Reporting directly to the President and serving on the executive cabinet, the CUGO will be the chief architect of ASU’s growth strategy, driving innovation at the intersection of mission and market.

We Are Seeking a Leader Who Is:

• A strategic architect who understands how to integrate key externally facing and revenue-generating functions including University Advancement & Alumni Relations, Marketing & Communication, University Media, Webmaster & Digital Strategies, Strategic & Corporate Partnerships, New Revenue Programs & Business Development, and Government & External Affairs.
• An entrepreneurial thinker with a track record of building new revenue streams, programs, or partnerships.
• A compelling storyteller capable of amplifying ASU’s mission as a leading HBCU serving Southwest Georgia.
• A collaborative leader who inspires teams, aligns resources, and delivers measurable results across diverse functional areas.
• A results-driven strategist committed to translating vision into actionable growth strategies and measurable outcomes.
