In partnership with Lindauer, Hobart and William Smith Colleges is seeking its next Vice President for Advancement.

Reporting to the President and serving on the cabinet, the Vice President for Advancement is the Colleges' chief development and alumni/alumnae relations officer and a central partner to trustees, volunteers, and senior leadership.

HWS is in the midst of a $400M comprehensive campaign, Further Together: The Campaign for Our Third Century, already propelled by historic philanthropy and record-setting results. With a strong foundation in place, the Vice President will guide the campaign while positioning advancement for sustained success into the future.

In this role, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership for all advancement, alumni and alumnae relations, and campaign activity.
• Serve as a key advisor to the President and a primary partner to the Board of Trustees and volunteer leadership.
• Personally engage in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and principal gift prospects.
• Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing advancement team with a collaborative and positive culture.
• Strengthen systems, practices, and the donor pipeline to align engagement and philanthropy across constituencies.

The salary range for this role is $225,000-$250,000.
