About the Opportunity
We invite applications for two, 52-week visiting non-tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant rank within the Doctor of Physical Therapy program
The position of Visiting Faculty to the Department of Physical Therapy, Movement, & Rehabilitation Sciences is concurrent with participation in the Duke Faculty Development Residency offered at Northeastern University. Further details about the residency program are available here. Application details are below. Acceptance into the residency program is a prerequisite for hire for this position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, engage in scholarship and educational opportunities and requirements specific to the faculty residency program, and participating in departmental, college, and university service. Qualified candidates must have expertise in, or a demonstrated commitment to, working with global student populations.

- Participants in the Faculty Development Residency will also be granted advanced standing in the Doctor of Education Program at Northeastern University. This is an optional program. Further details can be found here.
- Participate in a competitive nationwide application pool in which matriculates are chosen based on their experiences, qualifications, and interests
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree
- Be licensed in state of Massachusetts
- Minimum of four years of practice experience at the time of application
- Demonstrated experience in teaching physical therapy
- Two professional letters of recommendation submitted through RF-PTCAS
- A focused area of clinical experience, though not required, will be viewed favorably

Interested candidates for the DPT Faculty Development Residency must be submitted through the Residency and Fellowship Physical Therapy Centralized Application Service (RF-PTCAS).
