Visiting Assistant Professor – African American/Black History
The Department of History at Connecticut College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in African American/Black History to begin July 1, 2026. We welcome applicants from related fields such as Black Studies, American Studies, and US History.
We seek a colleague who is an excellent scholar and teacher and is enthusiastic about working closely with students in a liberal arts context. Teaching duties are five classes per year, two in the Fall and three in the spring semester.
