Department/College Background
The Department of Information Systems offers Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in information systems and in business analytics, a Master of Science in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have an earned doctorate in information systems, computer science, or a closely related field from a Carnegie research university/AACSB International accredited institution. Must meet RCVCOBE AACSB faculty qualifications for scholarly academic. ABD applicants must complete their doctorate before the fall 2026 semester.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
Applicants must have the ability to teach a variety information systems courses such as Java programming, management information systems, and data analytics. Evidence of high-quality research and demonstrated potential for quality teaching is expected along with a willingness to provide service to the department, college, university, and community. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and student interaction abilities.
