Job Summary
Susquehanna University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin in August 2026.
Specific Responsibilities
Teaching duties will include General Chemistry I and II lectures and labs. In addition, the opportunity exists to undertake short-term research projects with undergraduate students.
Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry is required, and college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred. Applicants who are ABD will be considered provided a Ph.D. is completed by August 1. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong evidence for the potential to provide excellence in undergraduate teaching.
