Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

The Economics Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year visiting position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2026. We seek candidates who will be a strong teacher who can add to our curriculum and who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with broadly diverse student populations. The teaching load is 5 courses per year. Candidates with ABD will be considered, although candidates with a Ph.D. are preferred. The teaching load for this position is five courses per year. The expected 9-month base salary range for this position is $97,475 to $100,600.
