Position Summary
The Psychology Department at Trinity College seeks to fill a full time two-year, non-tenure track position for a Visiting Assistant Professor with expertise in human neuroscience, with preference for clinical or neuropsychological applications. This position will begin in July 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a total of five courses each year. This includes a 200-level course in Brain and Behavior (capped at 30 students) and an advanced seminar in human neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, or similar course (capped at 16 students), with remaining courses depending on the candidate’s interest and the department’s curricular needs.

Qualifications
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience or related field ( ABD also considered). Some experience teaching bright, motivated, and diverse undergraduates is preferred. Depending on a candidate’s scholarly interests there may be opportunities to pursue research with colleagues or students in a variety of disciplines. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. In particular, applicants who require the H-1B visa cannot be considered, and applicants who require sponsorship for visas other than the H-1B visa will be required to pay all costs associated with visa applications.
