Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in Women's and Gender Studies
The Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Wellesley College invites applications for a one-year full-time position as Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor. We are seeking a feminist scholar whose research and teaching focuses on queer and trans studies. The department is committed to an intersectional approach. The successful candidate must be able to teach 'Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies.' The course load is 5 courses (2 in the fall, and 3 in the spring). PhD required at start of appointment. In addition to class meeting times, the candidate will hold regular office hours in person and promptly respond to student inquiries throughout the semester. There are no expectations for this position regarding formal advising. The candidate will be expected to engage in professional development and departmental service as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Minimum Salary: $75,295
