Basic Function

The Counseling Department at Porterville College is seeking a faculty member for a Tenure-Track Wellness Counselor position at the Porterville College location. Minimum Qualifications

Masters in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy or marriage, family and child counseling,

OR - The equivalent.

AND -A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Desired Qualification: Possession of a current valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist.

• Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues in an environment that promotes innovation, teaching, learning, and service to a diverse student population.
• Ability to effectively work with students with a wide range of skills, motivations, and academic and vocational goals.

SALARY RANGE $95,412.68 - $134,815.62 annually Maximum Entry Level Salary: $95,412.68 annually
