Work-Based Learning Senior Support Officer

About the role:

The Work-Based Learning Senior Support Officer provides critical operational and administrative support across the University’s portfolio of non-clinical work-related learning activity, including internships, placements, the Insights programme and related experiential learning opportunities, providing an efficient and effective service within established frameworks and procedures.

The role ensures that high-quality programming is delivered proficiently and compliantly, meeting the needs of students, employer partners, and internal stakeholders– enabling and equipping them to gain the knowledge, attributes, skills and experience to access and successfully undertake meaningful work-based learning experiences as part of their King’s studies or research.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to develop skills around administration, project management and event delivery alongside delivering directly to a range of stakeholder and student/researcher audiences.

We encourage applications from candidates who have experience from both within and outside of the Higher Education sector where they can demonstrate the skills needed to succeed in this role

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) requiring regular engagement on campus, but we welcome applications from candidates seeking a flexible working pattern within necessary service operating norms. Some evening and weekend working will be necessary throughout the year.

This is a fixed-term contract until 22 January 2027 to cover an internal secondment.
