SUMMARY

SUNY Brockport is seeking applicants for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty openings in the Higher Education/Educational Leadership (EdD) program.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:

Teaching (100%)

  • Teaches assigned doctoral courses in Educational Leadership in asynchronous online modalities.
  • Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
  • Produces effective course materials
  • Achieves student learning outcomes
  • Expected to hold scheduled office hours and otherwise assist students

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in relevant subject area from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized university, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree in relevant subject area from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized university
  • Demonstrated significant experience in teaching in online programs
  • Demonstrated significant experience in teaching doctoral students.
  • Significant experience teaching research methods courses (qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work Schedule: Variable

Salary and Benefits:

$5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible. Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport.
