Primary Purpose of the Position :
Adjunct faculty are integral to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. They provide an opportunity to hire experienced business professionals who bring their practical experiences into the classrooms. They focus mainly on excellence in instruction and practical applications. They offer a cutting-edge curriculum that helps the program meet its mission, vision, and objectives. Adjunct faculty are critical to implementing the curriculum and developing students in meeting learning outcomes.
Adjunct instructors are hired to teach specific courses for the College of Business & Entrepreneurship, specifically, the Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance. The primary function is to deliver course content, assess student performance, and support learning outcomes.
Preferred Years Experience,Skills, Training , Education:
- Recent college-level teaching experience
- Practical experience in a business setting
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and effective interactions with students, faculty, staff, and administration
- A doctoral degree in the relevant, or similar, field
