Job Summary
The Department of Physics at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty openings.
Job Functions
Essential Functions: Teaching (100%)
- Teaches assigned courses in the Department of Physics (laboratory sections for the algebra-based and/or calculus-based sequences of introductory Physics)
- Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
- Produces effective course materials
- Achieves student learning outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in physics or a related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in physics or a related field
- Significant teaching experience
Salary and Benefits
$5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible. Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport.
