Job Summary:
This appointment will be in the 2027-2028 Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship Program receiving advanced training in Cardiothoracic Imaging.
The clinical activities for which the position can function independently during training include general radiology duties, such as general imaging, on-call non-cardiac CT and non-cardiac MR interpretation, on-call general radiology services, and work at the non-UWHC sites.
This position will always function as a trainee when performing cardiac MR interpretation. The position will often supervise and teach residents and medical students. An additional component of this appointment outside of the fellowship could be providing independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by the Department Chair. Work may be carried out at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, UnityPoint Health-Meriter Hospital and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.

- This position is full or part-time, 50%-100%
- Terminal, 12-month appointment. Position is for one year with the possibility of extending for an additional year.
- This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
- Contact with vulnerable populations that are non-minors (does not pertain to physicians/providers who work with minors): This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.

Compensation:
The starting full-time salary for the position $86,486.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 Year Residency in Radiology
- MD - Physician - State Licensure
- WI Medical License by start date.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by American Board of Radiology by start date.

Required: Terminal Degree MD, DO, or equivalent.
