4+1 Engineering Graduate Student Liaison
Haverford College invites applications for our part-time (5 hours per week), fixed-term (1 year appointment), non-exempt, 4+1 Engineering Graduate Student Liaison opportunity.
Work Location: This position will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, pursuant to the College's Work Location Policy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with prospective applicants to the 4+1 Engineering program at the University of Pennsylvania
- Answer questions about the program and the application process
- Create enthusiasm about the program at Haverford
- Increase awareness of the program
Line of Report: The 4+1 Engineering Graduate Student Liaison reports to the 4+1 Engineering Faculty Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from Haverford College completed prior to start date
- Enrollment in the University of Pennsylvania's engineering program by fall 2025
Professional Competencies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Technical proficiency including strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple constituents (students, staff, and faculty)
