The Assessment Coordinator will report to the Executive Director of Academic Strategy and Operations and will play a key role in supporting a culture of assessment at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. This position will be responsible for managing various data and assessment-related processes and projects in alignment with accreditation requirements, institutional effectiveness, and strategic planning.
The Assessment Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
- Promote and support a schoolwide culture of assessment by establishing and reinforcing institutional standards and best practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain assessment tools, schedules, reporting mechanisms, guidelines, and workflows.
- Oversee assessment activities and documentation at all levels to ensure compliance with state, university, and accreditation requirements.
- Collect, organize, and disseminate assessment reports, tools, and resources to SPH faculty and staff, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior administrators, faculty, and staff on program-level assessment efforts, including Academic Program Review (APR) and Administrative and Educational Support (AES) assessment.
- Support the SPH Assessment Committee Chair and Curriculum Committee Chair in establishing meeting schedules, setting meeting agendas, taking and disseminating meeting minutes and identifying and following up on action items.
- Develop and lead assessment training activities and workshops for faculty and staff.
- Participate in CUNY-wide assessment initiatives and working groups; represent SPH on CUNY Assessment Council.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
The preferred candidate will have:
At least two years of related experience, with a
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment and/or accreditation in higher education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative and qualitative assessment methods.
- Strong attention to detail and analytic and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
Provides basic operational and analytical support related to a College's specialized academic program.
- Supports the directors and managers with orientation preparation, student advisement regarding program requirements, and providing basic information about financial aid and registration
- Manages office records including faculty files; prepares reports and surveys; collects and maintains statistical data on program activities
- Serves as liaison to various College offices to provide service delivery and appropriate referrals to students
- Collects and reviews syllabi to ensure compliance with standards
- Serves as resource person for students and faculty regarding program policies and procedures
- May supervise office operations and/or monitor department budget
- Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary range of $74,754 - $84,815
