Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey seeking a Nursing professional to serve as a Nursing Success Coach for the upcoming Fall semester. The Nursing Success Coach is responsible for developing and conducting retention and support activities for students identified as "at-risk of failing" in the Hybrid ABSN Nursing Program. S/he provides direct academic support, mentoring and coordinated service delivery plan and connects students to needed resources with the primary purpose of improving course completion and graduation outcomes in the Hybrid ABSN Program. The positions are primarily remote and will require access to and familiarity with remote learning venues, i.e., Zoom, Microsoft teams.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required, Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Qualifications:

Current NJ license in good standing as a Registered Nurse, NJ Registered Nurse license required throughout employment in the position; knowledge of student development and resources to promote student success; previous experience mentoring or precepting; demonstrated experience maintaining confidentiality (HIPPA and FERPA); strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online learning platforms such as Canvas LMS; ability, willingness and equipment required to utilize remote instructional venues, i.e., Zoom; strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently; availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends; ability to effectively track student participation and success rates; ability to communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff faculty, administration, colleagues and community partners in large and small group settings; ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the University.
