Starting Salary Range: Adjunct base rate is $1,208-$1,344 per credit hour depending on degree and teaching experience and in accordance with the adjunct pay table listed in the Master Agreement.
- Adjunct professors assigned to Integration Lecture Lab Instruction like studio classes average pay is between $6,300 - $7,400.
Position Summary: Johnson County Community College is looking to fill an adjunct teaching position in our Fine Arts program. This position will teach at least one section of Drawing-II in the Fall of 2026 with the possibility of additional and future Fine Arts teaching assignments.
Required Qualifications:
- Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting, Drawing or Printmaking.
- Previous teaching experience at a College level is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to teach courses in multiple disciplines within Fine Arts.
- Previous experience teaching 2-D Design, Drawing, Painting and/or Printmaking courses at a college level.
- Previous community college teaching experience.
