The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is accepting applications for Vocational Education Instructor, Noncredit - Nonprofit Management positions at our colleges for the 2026 Academic School Year. The purpose of this posting is to create a pool of qualified applicants.

The LACCD is seeking dynamic, motivated and diverse candidates for part-time faculty positions to engage and educate our students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree; and two years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught; OR
• Associate degree; and six years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught; OR
• Possession of a full-time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject matter.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college faculty, staff, and students.

VERIFICATION OF OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE: DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Successful applicants will be able to provide a Verification of Employment letter... in areas such as: Management Experience of a Nonprofit, Social Entrepreneurship, Organizational Development, etc.

DUTIES
The adjunct instructor should be prepared to teach a range of Nonprofit Management related courses... REMOTE LEARNING: Faculty may be required to conduct classes in a virtual learning environment using Canvas, hybrid, or hyflex modalities...

COMPENSATION
The salary schedule for adjunct noncredit instructors begins at $89.72 per standard hour.
