Adjunct Faculty - Augustine and Culture Seminar Program
Position Summary
The Augustine and Culture Seminar Program will accept applications throughout the year for adjunct teaching positions for undergraduate courses only. ACS is a two semester writing intensive interdisciplinary seminar program, required of all first year students. ACS 1000 focuses on texts of antiquity and the Middle Ages, including Augustine's Confessions. ACS 1001 continues the emphasis on self in the world through the lens of modernity, starting with Shakespeare and continuing to the present.

Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught.
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree in a humanities discipline is required as well as experience suitable for course instruction. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of the humanities.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience preferred.
