POSITION: Adjunct Faculty Pool – Business Information Systems

SALARY: Per credit rate: 1-12 semesters: $1975, 13+ semesters: $2050

New Jersey City University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Business Information Systems within the Department of Finance in the School of Business. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our dynamic academic community by teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Business Information Systems.
• Develop course syllabi, lectures, assignments, and assessments in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and application of theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios.
• Provide mentorship and academic support to students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated expertise and professional experience in information technology.
• Prior teaching experience at the university level preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

EDUCATION: A master’s or doctoral degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field. Doctoral degree preferred.
