JOB DESCRIPTION
Harper College Mathematics and Sciences provides transfer ready courses in computer sciences, engineering and mathematics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale
Schedule Information: Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule
Job Description: Teaching ESC 100, Rocks and Minerals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements: Master’s degree in a physical science (including, but not limited to astronomy, geology, or physics); or a master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in physical science (including, but not limited to astronomy, geology, or physics).
Experience Requirements: Recent college-level teaching experience, lab development, and ability to work with course management systems such as Blackboard are the preferred qualifications. The teaching requirement may be fulfilled through a program of supervised teaching as a graduate student.
