Adjunct Faculty, Early Childhood Education program
Mills College at Northeastern University is seeking part-time Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in the Early Childhood Education program on the Oakland campus in the Fall 2025 Semester. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe. Responsibilities include: developing assignments, assessments and a course schedule to meet required learning outcomes; developing a syllabus explicitly addressing credential standards; developing and delivering course content using the Mills College at Northeastern teaching and learning platforms and facilities; holding appropriate office hours; engaging with departmental and university part-time faculty obligations as required. The courses will be taught in person on the Mills College at Northeastern campus in Oakland, California.
Qualifications: M.A. required, Ph.D. or A.B.D. or doctorate in education or related field preferred. Preference will be given to those experienced in teaching in K-12 classrooms as well as large and diverse groups of students.
