"Adjunct Faculty English"

Job Summary

The English Program at Mercy University seeks part-time adjunct instructors to teach English composition to undergraduate students. Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching is required. Candidates may also be asked to provide assistance with program assessment and to attend select programmatic or professional development meetings. Successful candidates may be offered the opportunity to teach up to 3 section(s) per semester.

English courses run at the Dobbs Ferry, Manhattan, and Bronx campuses, as well as online, so please indicate in your cover letter which of these campuses you anticipate being available to teach at. Education Requirements

• Masters or Doctorate from an accredited institution in an appropriate academic discipline such as English Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, English Education, or a closely related field
