About the Opportunity
Mills College at Northeastern University is seeking a part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach a course in the MA in Educational Leadership program on the Oakland campus in the Summer 1 academic term. Responsibilities
Mills College of Northeastern University is seeking applicants to teach this course in the MA Degree in Educational Leadership Program:
- EDUT 6308: Trauma-Informed Leadership. (4 credits) - 05/06/2026 - 06/21/2026
Responsibilities include: developing assignments, assessments and a course schedule to meet required learning outcomes; developing a syllabus explicitly addressing credential standards; developing and delivering course content using the Mills College at Northeastern teaching and learning platforms and facilities; holding appropriate office hours; maintaining course syllabus, assignments, and related materials to support program accreditation documentation and university assessment reporting; engaging with departmental and university part-time faculty obligations as required.
The courses will be taught in person on the Mills College at Northeastern campus in Oakland, California. The per credit rate is $2,387.03.
Qualifications
M.A. required, Ph.D.or A.B.D. or doctorate in education or related field preferred. Preference will be given to those experienced in teaching in K-12 classrooms as well as large and diverse groups of students.
