Adjunct Faculty Pool- Communications (2025-2026 Academic Year)
Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) seeks to develop applicant pools for adjunct faculty to teach Communications courses throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. WWCC offers opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach at various campuses and online.
General Responsibilities: Faculty members facilitate student learning through preparation and delivery of course materials, timely feedback, grading, and connecting students to resources.
Essential Responsibilities: Teach assigned classes, provide syllabi, evaluate student performance, maintain records, hold office hours, and utilize technology appropriate to the assignment.
Competencies: Student success strategies, outcomes-based learning, assessment, equity, diversity, and inclusion, digital literacy, and commitment to professional growth.
Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Communications or equivalent, with demonstrated proficiency teaching at the college level (minimum two years).
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral Degree, community college teaching experience, use of instructional technology, and experience with diverse student populations.
