ADJUNCT FACULTY POSITION

The Department of Urology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in the Adjunct Professorial series (non-tenure track). Salary and title will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and training.
The candidate is required to have demonstrated experience in translational prostate cancer research. Expertise and experience assessing how hormone therapy interacts with the immune system and/or DNA repair defects is required. The candidate should have at least five years of experience as an experimental biologist using cell line and mouse pre-clinical systems. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate excellence in high-throughput screening using CRISPR functional genomics. PhD, MD, EdD or equivalent academic doctoral degree is required at the time of hire. Applicant's CV must state (pending) degree requirement upon application submission.
Teaching duties for this position will be minimal. The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent area of scholarly work. Relevant research experience (including a record of publications) should be shown in the field of prostate cancer research.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $121,900-$157,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
