Summary
This position will involve assisting with the following: preparation for student laboratory sessions, instruction during student laboratory sessions, and grading of laboratory assignments.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Generalist certification in medical laboratory sciences (MT/MLS).
- BS degree.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to maneuver in the laboratory between lab benches and instruments.
- Ability to work accurately and safely under stress, adapt easily to changing environments and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an adjunct faculty member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience.
Salary Range
$10,000+ (Commensurate with experience)
