Carroll University seeks to hire an Adjunct Instructor of Philosophy for Fall 2026.
Course: PHI101 | Introduction to Philosophy (4 Credits)
Section A: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:40 - 11:50 AM
Section C: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12:00 - 1:10 PM
A historical introduction to the major fields of Western philosophy including logic, metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. This course helps students better understand the world by studying significant interpretations of self, the world, and morality that have been offered by thinkers, past and present.
Qualifications: Graduate degree in discipline.
The College: The College of Arts and Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programs through seven departments - Communication and Sociology; Computational and Physical Sciences; English, Modern Languages and Philosophy; History, Political Sciences and Religious Studies; Life Sciences; and Visual and Performing Arts.
