PHY 101 | Introductory Physics I
Course:The first course of a non-calculus based two-course sequence in the basic principles of physics covering the areas of mechanics, thermal physics, and fluids.
Section A: 8:00 a.m. - 9:10 a.m. | Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays | On Campus
Section B: 9:20 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. | Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays | On Campus
Term: Spring 2026 (January 20 - May 6)
Qualifications:A graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Physics or related field. Official transcripts due upon hire.
PHY 101L | Introductory Physics I Laboratory
Course: Lab component for PHY101, the first course of a non-calculus based two-course sequence in the basic principles of physics covering the areas of mechanics, thermal physics, and fluids.
Section A: 2:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m. | Mondays | On Campus
Term:Spring 2026 (January 20 - May 6)
Qualifications:A degree in Physics or related field. Graduate degree preferred (M.S. or Ph.D.). Official transcripts due upon hire.
PHY 102 | Introductory Physics II
Course:The second course of a non-calculus based two-course sequence in the basic principles of physics including wave motion (oscillations, waves, and sound), light and optics, and electromagnetism.
Section B:10:40 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. | Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays | On Campus
Term: Spring 2026 (January 20 - May 6)
Qualifications:A graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Physics or related field. Official transcripts due upon hire.
