Adjunct Instructor, Speech (In-Person, AM)
Job Summary
Reporting to the campus department instructional leader, adjunct instructors provide assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process providing a direct impact to student success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements include accepting and teaching classes based on varied schedules and modalities, preparing and delivering instruction using the approved learning management system, communicating regularly with students, preparing assignments and assessments, maintaining student records, evaluating student performance, and submitting grades.
Service Excellence includes supporting the mission and values of the College, completing required training, adhering to policies and procedures.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Speech Communication or Communications, or Master’s degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in one of the above disciplines. Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
