Adjunct Laboratory Instructor

Minimum qualifications:

Applicants must have an active Funeral Director/Embalmer license. Must have minimum of three years embalming experience. Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university required. Must have graduated from an ABFSE-accredited mortuary school. This is a non-lecture laboratory position. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Set hours, including daytime and weekend, may be required. Previous teaching and online experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide laboratory instruction in Mortuary Science.
Evaluate student performance.
At the direction of the department chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the faculty contract.

The Salary is $1,457.00 per contact hour, position begins May 25, 2026.
