Admin Coordinator

As an Admin Coordinator, you will:
- Oversee operations for the department of Agronomy and Horticulture administrative office to ensure cooperation, effective and efficient communication, and governance, and a high level of customer service.
- Provide a high level of assistance in the academic and administrative support, as well as personnel management areas for the unit.
- Coordinate and complete special projects, as needed, and provide advanced administrative support to the Department Head and Associate Department Head.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field plus two years' administrative experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
- Working knowledge of PC-based word processing (presentation, publishing, survey instrument) and spreadsheet software programs.
- Strong working knowledge of standard office practices and University policies and procedures.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of academia and/or agriculture.
