Position Details:

Temporary, non-benefits-eligible
Location: Chestnut Hill, MA - Onsite
Length of Assignment: Varies based on assignment and hours per week worked
Hours: 5-30 hours per week, depending on availability and demand
Hourly Rate: $23-25, per hour. Salary commensurate with relevant experience.


Administrative Office Temp Pool - Finance Focus

The Administrative Office Temp Pool provides temporary administrative, secretarial, and office support across various departments.

We are currently seeking individuals to join our Administrative Office Temp Pool who have experience supporting entry-level finance functions within a higher education environment. Assignments may be short-term or long-term based on departmental needs and organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, document preparation, and record-keeping.
  • Utilize office technology and software to manage files, compile reports, and process information.
  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff, providing information and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and office communications.
  • Operate office equipment, including phones, printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Perform budget and account reconciliations
  • Monitor and reconcile P-Card transactions
  • Process travel bookings and expense reimbursements
  • Assist with financial data reporting and budget tracking
  • Provide grant and sponsored program administrative support
  • Enter and manage financial data in PeopleSoft

Candidates in the temp pool may be contacted for interviews if their skills match an opening. Participation in the pool does not guarantee placement.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft Financials (preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and have good follow through
  • Ability to adapt to different work environments and team dynamics.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Assignments in this temp pool vary in length and scope, offering a flexible work environment for individuals with administrative skills and experience.
