The University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Nursing is seeking
an Admissions Counselor (Recruiter) . This position is
reported to the Office of Admissions within the Office of Student
and Academic Services. Under the direct supervisor, the incumbent
in this position supports and executes strategic recruitment
initiatives by managing in-state and out-of-state recruitment;
conducting information sessions; representing Admissions at
recruiting and outreach events and counseling prospective
students.
This position requires approximately 75% travel, and the work is performed primarily away from the office and at various locations. Our ideal candidate independently represents the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Nursing at community colleges, universities, high schools, hospitals and other health care organizations. The individual is responsible for attending conferences, college fairs, and additional recruitment events throughout Maryland and other assigned recruitment territories.
