Position #: 00008284 – Requisition #:38942 Job Summary: Clinical care of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome in an outpatient setting and participation in clinical research including clinical trials and quality improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:- Primary responsibility for the treatment and management of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome at our outpatient clinic or Network of Care locations.
- Serve as the medical provider in multidisciplinary team visits providing evaluation and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with Down syndrome.
- Provide clinical supervision for advanced practice nursing, physician assistant and/or medical students.
- Contribute to ongoing clinical research projects, clinical trials and quality improvement efforts.

- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or physician assistant (MPAS)
- Eligible for licensure in Colorado as an Advance Practice Nurse (FNP, PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check
- 1-2 years of nursing or advanced practice experience in general pediatrics, developmental pediatrics or a pediatric subspecialty
- Prescriptive authority in Colorado
- Research experience
- Strong communication skills
- Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatrics and child development
- Commitment to Patient Safety, Quality Care, Communication, and Customer Service
