AI Hub Tools Manager

The SCALE Initiative of the Stanford Accelerator for Learning, housed at Stanford Graduate School of Education, is seeking a Tools Manager to support research communication and dissemination efforts for the AI Hub for Education. This individual should be skilled at taking raw technical information (tables, analyses, draft findings) and shaping them into clear and usable stories and tools for K-12 practitioners. This role is the key link bridging research output to communications and stakeholder engagement.
This position is a 1-year fixed term appointment based on Stanford University's main campus. Interested

POSITION SUMMARY:
The AI Tools Manager reporting to the Managing Director of the AI Hub for Education, also working in close collaboration with the SCALE Communications & Engagement Manager will manage the AI Hub's Tools development for K-12 practitioners by creating reports, writing blogs, developing one-pagers for specific audiences on the current research, and planning webinars.
CORE DUTIES:
- Identify, plan, and execute briefs, slides, and one-pagers adapted for specific audiences based on existing and new research
- Draft monthly blogs based on research topics relating to AI in K-12 education.
- Draft monthly newsletter highlighting recent and relevant research to a practitioner audience
- Assist in the development of dissemination plans for research and resources.
- Plan and coordinate webinars, including outreach and logistics.
- Track, propose, and apply for external conference opportunities.
- Create materials and slide decks for internal and external engagements.
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand the need and purpose of a project and identify future projects.
- Develop and research ideas for written publication/communication on topics of moderate complexity.
- Build and maintain audience contact lists.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

- Strong commitment to K12 education and research informing improved practice.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - demonstrated ability to translate data and complex ideas into practical approaches through writing and multimedia.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate research-based technical information through clear and accessible written and visual content.
- Ability to understand materials of moderate complexity and synthesize across multiple data rich research sources to produce audience specific materials.
- Leverages previous professional K12 education experience towards excellent judgment for what K12 system leaders need.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Occasionally use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Rarely sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.
- Ability to use voice to present information/communicate with others.
- On-campus mobility.

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $65,281 to $104,687 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
