Position Description
Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.
Major/Essential Functions
- Review and approve PCard expense reports for appropriateness and accuracy.
- Process PCard expense reports in compliance with operating policies and guidelines.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the rules and regulations of federal, state, and local accounts and the HSC Purchasing Card (PCard) OPs.
- Interact with department end-users and vendors on purchasing card related issues.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Online Purchasing Card System: Emburse Enterprise.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Equipment utilization and records control for audit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Banner finance system and/or SciQuest e-Procurement system.
- Experience with Texas State purchasing card procedures.
- Bookkeeping and/or account reconciliation experience.
- Experience working in a similar position.
- Degree work or experience in Business, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
- Experience with Emburse Enterprise or similar administrative programs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year of related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
