- Salary Range: $73,961- $81,067 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

The team
Reporting to the Team Lead, Animal Breeding, this role sits within the Biological Services team in the Research Infrastructure Function. The team supports critical research activities across the University and broader scientific community.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in animal husbandry, including breeding and Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) practices
- Strong technical skills in procedures such as injections, biopsies or anaesthesia support
- Knowledge of Animal Ethics Committees (AEC), Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) and compliance requirements with accurate recordkeeping
- Experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS), infection control and aseptic techniques
- Ability to train and guide users in safe animal handling and facility procedures
