Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, University Tenure Line, Dermatology
The Department of Dermatology at Stanford University seeks a board certified or eligible dermatologist to join the Department as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the University Tenure Line. We are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated excellence in translational research, experience mentoring trainees, and the clinical expertise to advance our department's mission at one of the world's leading academic medical institutions.
The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching.
Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful applicant should have a M.D./Ph.D or M.D. degree from an accredited institution, board certification or eligibility in dermatology, and a valid medical license to practice.
We expect the successful candidate to build and lead an independent research program in translational dermatological science, cultivate interdisciplinary collaborations across basic and clinical science, and maintain an active clinical practice that informs and strengthens their scholarly work. The candidate will support the department's educational mission through teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows, and will engage actively with the broader scientific community through professional societies and national and regional conferences.
Applications will be reviewed beginning July 10, 2026 and accepted until position is filled.
