Job Description

Assistant/Associate Professor in Computing

The College of Computing and Informatics (CCI) at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for full-time tenure-track (3 Positions) at all ranks in all areas of Computing, with focus on foundational, use-inspired, and transdisciplinary research interests in (but not limited to):

  1. Modern and future Computing systems, including photonic and quantum computing, analog neuromorphic computing, combinatorial algorithms, and continuous
  2. Modern software systems, including auto-coding and code analytics, dependability, security, open-source eco-systems, and software supply chain management.
  3. Security, privacy, resiliency, and intelligence in future smart environments such as healthcare, manufacturing, and power systems.
  4. Machine Learning/Computer Vision for Robotics, including symbiotic intelligence and foundational models for scene understanding and manipulation.
  5. Machine learning and systems, including hardware acceleration, energy-efficient cloud designs, federated learning, and distributed computing.
