Assistant/Associate Professor in Cybersecurity
Job Summary
Join TU Delft Cybersecurity to educate future security leaders and enhance cyberspace safety through a data-driven approach. The role involves research in areas such as Systems Security, Network and Internet Security, Web Security and Privacy, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Privacy-Enhancing Technologies, and the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct groundbreaking research in cybersecurity.
- Teach and supervise Bachelor, Master, and PhD students in Computer Science programs.
- Publish impactful papers and transfer knowledge to the scientific community.
- Collaborate with research partners including government, universities, research centers, and industry.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Excellent portfolio of publications in Cybersecurity and related venues.
- Excellent command of English.
- Teaching and student mentoring experience (a plus for Assistant Professor, expected for Associate Professor).
- Acquisition of research funding (a plus for Assistant Professor, expected for Associate Professor).
Requirements
- Demonstrate research expertise in at least one of the following areas: Software Security, Reverse Engineering for Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity, or Online Security and Privacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, students, and the academic community.
- Leverage academic and industrial networks to increase the group's impact and visibility.

- Salary range: €4,728 to €8,673 per month gross, depending on level.
