Assistant/Associate Professor in Sport Psychology
Miami University (Oxford, OH) is announcing a search for an Associate/Assistant Professor in Sport Psychology to teach undergraduate and graduate courses beginning Fall Semester 2026. Responsibilities include teaching sport psychology courses; maintaining an active research agenda; pursuing external funding; advising undergraduate and graduate students; and providing professional service to the department, college, and institution.
Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Sport Psychology or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment to Assistant Professor. For Associate Professor: Doctorate in Sport Psychology or closely related field; five years of collegiate-level teaching experience with evidence of high-quality teaching; and an established record in scholarship/research with strong prospects for continuation. Consideration may be given to candidates with evidence of high-quality instruction, experience teaching sport psychology courses, and certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC).
