We are seeking two excellent academics to join the staff of our vibrant, collegial, research-driven Department as Assistant Professors / Lecturers in Psychology. They will be expected to make a strong contribution to teaching core areas of Psychology, and specialist topics (depending on background and expertise), on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Department and University, including the BSc General Nursing and BSc Sports Science and Health, where required. They will also be expected to supervise research interns, Master’s and PhD students and to sustain and conduct research, engage in scholarship of quality and substance, and generate publications of international standard.

Assistant Professor / Lecturer (2025) Salary Scale: €64,112– €101,524 p.a. (7 points)

Assistant Lecturer (2025) Salary Scale: €41,682– €71,285 p.a. (14 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
